DON’T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS ME [MARYAM’S LIFE IS BACK! + SURPRISE]

DON’T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS ME…MARYAM’S LIFE IS BACK

Remember my post about “Why finding your niche…Your blog isn’t growing“, well the post wasn’t complete because I forgot to share the personal side with you guys. Ever since I started really focusing more on “Blogging tips”, I gradually started losing my “ginger/motivation” because I gradually ignored the main reason I started blogging in the first place which is: ‘To share my personal style, life and share my personal views on things in general”.

I was reading an article the other day and one line gave me answers to many questions I’ve been asking myself. The line goes like:

“Share amusing stories from your own life once in a while so people can see the human being behind the blog”.

I try hard to always detach myself from TBP because I don’t want the platform to be all about me but at the end of the day, I realised I am part of TBP whether I like it or not and that connection needs to be intact. It is important as bloggers to express a bit of your personal story on your blog even though your blog isn’t a personal life blog. I needed that bond to continue which is why I am reviving the category: “Maryam’s Life”.

Tuesday’s still stand for “Blogging tips” post and Friday’s for lifestyle which will be a special day I get to share a little bit of me with you guys. I started as a personal fashion/lifestyle blogger, why shy away from it?

And the surprise on the blog is firstly, I worked on the design of the platform, did you notice? what do you think? and the final surprise is the  NEW page called ‘TOOLS‘ which is a permanent page the team will update regularly containing everything you need to sustain as a blogger. Great right? [Great for newbies and established bloggers]

Once again, avoid detaching your self from your blog. I understand not all of us enjoy talking about ourselves or putting our personal life out there but I am very sure you can find a way to go about it!

Thank you for reading and see you Next Tuesday [Blog post ideas for May].
