Hello everyone, so this is the first Blogger Boss of the week for the year and on that note, I want to wish everyone a happy new year.

Let’s get to know more about her and her style.
My name is Wumi Oguntuase, a.k.a Wumi ‘Tuase. I am a style blogger, fashion entrepreneur and personal stylist. I have always been style conscious, love to play dress up and style people. A lot of my friends used to ask me to shop for them and show them how to style it which is one of the reasons I started blogging. I initially started blogging in 2012 during my industrial attachment and at the time, there was no tension or complex, all that was there was the passion to show easy styling tips. I left it for a while and came back in 2015 to see everyone had stepped up their game and people were running into debts trying to be like their favourite bloggers.
I then restructured my blog and named it THE AVERAGE NIGERIAN GIRL basically because I could not afford a lot of luxurious items as an average Nigerian girl LOL, so the intention was to show how one can still be stylish on a budget. There is absolutely no harm in repeating your own outfits as long as you are creative with the styling. This also prompted me to open a thrift store (@thriftstoreng) because I am no stranger to thrifting and I hate to be seen on pieces that are currently in mass circulation. The pieces you would find while thrifting if you know what you are doing, are very unique and when paired well will still make you look as stylish as ever.
Basically, I love to look good and still be comfortable & I love making people look good too. I describe my style as Relatable, Comfortable & Edgy because basic is boring.
